Day 11

Heading in to DinoLand!

An early start – off to Animal Kingdom today!

We started by riding Triceretops spin (no wait!) then onto Dinosaur. What a ride! There was no wait so we rode it twice. Daniel and I had a quick (well 3 actually) ride on Expedition Everest. We then went and met Pocohantas (who asked the girls if they had been on a long canoe ride to get to America), Chip and Dale (who wrapped the girls up with their scarves) and Baloo and King Louie.

Then we watched FOTLK. What a great little show! So much energy in the performance, and the songs and floats were great. The acrobatic monkeys were amazing!

We had a delicious lunch at the Yak and Yeti – asian inspired foods. Our waiter Stacey (a man) was so much fun and made the girls special 'Sleeping Beauty pink lemonade'. As our girls are not usually allowed fizzy drinks it was a memorable lunch for them!

Alexis with her "worms in dirt" ice cream sundae
Afterwards we rode Kali river rapids. Grandpa and I were very nervous about getting wet – and we got soaked!! My skirt needed to be wrung out;) Olivia and Daniel rode again! We left the park soggy but satisfied to come back to the hotel.

Meeting Pocohantas
Then time to get dressed again and go to Hollywood Studios! We rode Star Tours twice, had dinner at the Backlot Express then made our way to Fantasmic! A huge spectacle of images on water, giant puppets, boats full of characters and fire works. The entire ‘lake’ even caught on fire!

The girls fell asleep on the bus ride home – we are packing so much into each day!
