Lexie and Lily |
This morning was our much awaited visit to American Girl! The girls already knew which doll they wanted but we had rganised a personal shopper to show us around the store. This service is great because they hold all of our purchases for you in a special room so you are not carrying everything - and as soon as we chose the dolls they unwrapped them for the girls to carry around the store with them.
Olivia chose Molly McIntire who is a historical doll set in Illinois 1944. Each of the dolls have stories written about them and their clothing and accessories are all from their time period. Alexis chose a Bitty Baby who she has named Lily. Her baby came with a backpack full of outfits, blanket and a bottle.

Cafe Europa |
We stopped for brunch at Europa Cafe which is known for it's cheap prices - the pancakes and breakfast sandwiches all went down well!

We then did some more wandering around and shopping including a stop at Toys 'R' Us. This store has a full sized Ferris Wheel and Animatronic T-Rex inside - it was incredible.
