Day 16

Alexis choosing her style

Our morning started out with the bus to Magic Kingdom  – all dressed and ready for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! Olivia was dressed as Rapunzel and Alexis wore a tutu and Tinkerbelle top. I had bought Alexis a Merida dress to wear but earlier in the holiday it gave her heat rash so she wasn't chancing it again!

The girls were taken in and shown their seats. Their fairy god mother in training did their hair, painted their nails and even put on make up! I was asked if I had any restrictions on what they chose but I let them go for it - Olivia chose pink hair extensions and Alexis chose red. I asked Alexis why she didn't choose blonde to match her hair and she said "then no one would know I had fake hair in mum". Well der I guess! It was an amazing transformation:) The girls loved every minute of it, and it was totally worth the money and a highlight of our trip.

We took a relaxing ride on the Liberty Belle paddle steamer and then we watched the Dream Along with Mickey show in front of the castle – a great show! We were lucky enough to meet the Fairy Godmother on our way to lunch in the Castle:) Every little (and big) girl's dream. We had our photo taken with Cinderella and as we ate Jasmine, Ariel, Aurora and Snow White visited our table. Daniel wasn't feeling great so he went back to the hotel before lunch and had a sleep.
Dream along with Mickey!

The afternoon we spent swimming then walked to Downtown Disney. The girls and I grabbed Earl of Sandwich on the way back to the hotel (delicious! I had the holiday one with turkey, cranberry and stuffing).

A quiet night tonight to pack and get ready for our plane trip tomorrow...
